Poha chivda is a popular and easy snack in India. It is made at all times of the year, whenever you feel like it but on Diwali occasion it tastes more delicious than any other time. Homemade Poha chivda always tastes better and more delicious.
My mom adds special touch to Poha Chivda. Her secret ingredient is Fried Coriander leaves powder. She fries coriander leaves till crisp and grind them till a fine powder. Then mix this powder into Poha Chivda evenly. That gives nice green colour to poha chivda and adds extra flavor to it that will refresh you from tongue to toe. This green poha chivda recipe is always loved and relished by my friends and family.
But today I am sharing Maharashtrian style quick low fat poha chivda. This version of poha chivda is made during Diwali festival as savory snack. In next post, will share my mom’s version of chivda.
